Help us to Support Deaf Peoples' Right To
Communicate Freely!
- When
a Deaf person need to visit the Doctors, 99% of the Doctors can't sign,
so an interpreter has to be called in......Arghhhh what happened
to our rights to privacy?
- When
a Deaf person need a Police or is arrested, 99% of the Police
officers can't sign, so an extra time is need to bring in an
interpreter, which can cause the situation to become more distressing.
- 99%
of the Lawyers and Judges in the Judicial system can't sign...also the
majority of the Interpreters who translated what is being said have
very often got it wrong, that can result in miscarriage of justice...so
what's happened to Deaf peoples' right of a fair trial?
